Breakouts
Summertime can mean breakouts when and where you least expect it. Make sure you always remember to cleanse your face AM & PM as sweat mixed with bacteria and oils on your skin can end up clogging your pores. Daily Foaming Cleanser will effectively (but gently) wash away any dirt and build-up thanks to the natural and mild cleansing actives to keep your skin in the clear all summer. If breakouts are a common concern of yours, it might be time to introduce the powerful and deep-cleansing ingredient salicylic acid to your routine. Our Skin Perfector 2% BHA is formulated with 2% BHA (AKA salicylic acid) to effectively exfoliate the skin and leave an even, flawless complexion.
Oily skin
With increased temperatures come greater humidity, which can lead to an increased oil production that can make your skin look and feel shiny and greasy. Try swapping out creamy moisturizers with lightweight, gel-based ones, such as our Daily Mineral Gel to provide the skin with the hydration it needs without ever feeling greasy.
Sunburn
Sunburns are no joke and they're definitely not fun to deal with. To prevent them from happening, wear sunscreen (obviously) and limit sun exposure during 12 PM and 3 PM. If you still end up getting sunburned, hydration and aloe vera are your skin’s best friends. Intense Hyaluronic Mask contains hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and cucumber water, which will deliver a cooling and refreshing sensation. Try popping it in the fridge for extra relief. And of course, don't forget to apply a protective layer of SPF to fend off the potential harm of UV rays.
