Fragrance-free, water-resistant, non-sticky, and reef-safe formula without oxybenzone and octinoxate. This broad-spectrum formula with SPF 50 effectively helps protect skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. With its lightweight consistency, it won’t clog pores but instead leave behind a nourishing and breathable layer – making it great for all skin types, including breakout-prone. Leaves skin with a not-too-dewy, not-too-matte finish. No cast, no greasy residue. Just goes on sheer.
HOW
As the last step in your morning skincare routine, apply a generous, even layer to your face and neck before sun exposure (use one teaspoon – less than a quarter fl. oz.). Reapply every 2 hours when in direct sunlight, after toweling, swimming or sweating. Please keep in mind that sunscreen does not provide 100% protection from UV rays. The best protection is to keep out of direct sunlight between noon and 3 PM when the sun is at its strongest. Warning: Reducing this quantity will significantly lower the level of  protection.
BROAD-SPECTRUM SYNTHETIC FILTERS — Reef-safe and skin-friendly sun filters to protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays while leaving skin with a non-sticky feel

VITAMIN E — A powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, repairs, replenishes, and smooths skin

ORGANIC ALOE VERA — Rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and vitamins, the extract creates a cooling protective layer and helps the skin retain moisture.

Stains light colored clothes

This sunscreen feels great on the skin, but has ruined some of my favorite shirts staining the collar a very visible yellow - even when allowed a 45 minutes dry in time before putting on the shirt. Woods should definitely disclose that it contains chemicals that stains clothes.

Hi dear,

Thank you so much for taking your time to review our Facial Sunscreen SPF50. We are glad to hear, that you like the feeling of the SPF, it is also formulated without petrolatum, fragrance, oxybenzone and octinoxate.

However, sunscreens containing organic/chemical filters may leave yellow stains on clothes, as the filters themselves are naturally yellow. Therefore, we always recommend allowing the sunscreen to fully penetrate the skin before putting on clothing. If you still experience staining on clothing, you can try the following method:

- Apply concentrated detergent directly onto the stain.
- Place the clothing in a plastic bag overnight.
- Wash the clothing afterward at the highest temperature it can tolerate (repeat the process up to three times if necessary).

Please be aware that all sunscreens can potentially transfer onto clothes - even those with mineral filters, which instead of leaving yellow stains, can leave white marks on the fabric.

Feel free to contact us at info@woodscopenhagen.com, if you have any questions or need further elaboration on the subject.

Lots of love, Sofie Team woods_
