The benefits of organic and natural conditioner

Conditioners play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of your hair by providing essential moisture, detangling, and refining the hair strands. woods_ conditioners work to replenish lost moisture, increase shine and vibrance, while reducing frizz. Regular use of conditioner helps to strengthen each strand, prevent breakage, and enhance softness and shine. In your hair care routine, woods_ conditioners ensure your hair stays hydrated, manageable, and protected against daily stressors.

Why should I choose a conditioner with natural ingredients?

Natural ingredients in conditioners offer numerous advantages for both your hair and scalp. Compounds derived from berries, plants, and nuts provide gentle yet effective conditioning, nourishing the hair with all the natural benefits of vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids to promote strength and hydration. These natural and organic ingredients work harmoniously with your hair’s natural structure, enhancing its health without disrupting its balance.

How can silicones affect hair?

Silicones are often used in conditioners to create a smooth, shiny finish by coating the hair strands. However, this coating can lead to build-up over time, making the hair feel heavy, greasy, and less responsive to other treatments. This build-up can also prevent essential nutrients from penetrating the hair follicles and hair shaft, leading to a lack of moisture and overall health. In the worst cases, the build-up can clog hair follicle in the scalp, leading to hair loss. At woods_, we have chosen to formulate our conditioners without silicones, focusing instead on natural, nourishing ingredients that enhance your hair’s natural texture and vitality without creating unwanted residue.

How the woods_ conditioners can transform your routine

Volumizing Conditioner

The key ingredients of our Volumizing Conditioner are moisturizing and protective amaranth extract, hair growth-stimulating rosemary oil, and nutrient-rich shea butter, which all work synergistically to promote healthy hair growth, leaving locks visibly more voluminous, thicker, and shinier, bringing an overall more lively and vibrant appearance to the hair.

Nourishing Conditioner

Our Nourishing Conditioner is especially beneficial for dry, thick, and curly hair, as it works to soften and hydrate while rebuilding damaged strands. The result is more refined, structured, and deeply nourished hair that both looks and feels healthier. Rich in fatty acids and nutrients from moisturizing shea butter, a blend of protective antioxidant-rich berries, and repairing plant-based proteins, the ingredient complex will work to improve elasticity, softness, and structure of the locks.

How often should you use a conditioner?

Using a conditioner regularly is key to keeping your hair in top condition. For most hair types, applying conditioner every time you shampoo is recommended to maintain moisture balance and manageability. For those with extremely dry or damaged hair, a more intensive conditioning treatment once a week can provide additional benefits. On the other hand, if you have fine or oily hair, you might opt for a lighter conditioner or apply it less frequently to avoid excess build-up. Generally speaking, conditioning 2-3 times a week should be sufficient for most hair types.

Do your conditioners contain natural and organic ingredients?

Yes, our conditioners are formulated with shea butter, rosemary oil, plant-based proteins, and an abundance of other enriching ingredients crafted by Nordic nature. When brought to our formulas, the ingredients offer multifaceted benefits, including strengthening, softening, and boosting every strand.

Do your conditioners contain fragrance?

Yes, our conditioners are enriched with a subtle scent of rose, citrus, and freesia – however, it isn’t synthetically developed, but rather derived from essential oils.

How do I use your conditioners effectively?

Apply the conditioner to wet (not soaking) hair after shampooing. Massage it into the lengths and ends and leave it in for a few minutes to allow for optimal nourishment. Rinse thoroughly. We recommend applying your conditioner for a few minutes with regular use. For deeper conditioning, use your conditioner as a mask by leaving it in for 10-20 minutes before rinsing.

What are the benefits of your conditioners?

Our conditioners are formulated to visibly transform your hair. Our Nourishing Conditioner deeply hydrates and nourishes the hair to soften, hydrate, and condition hair strands while enhancing and defining curl structure. Our Volumizing Conditioner adds volume, lifts, and promotes the shine of the hair, leaving a bouncy, more voluminous, and vital appearance and feel.

Are your conditioners suitable for all hair types?

Yes, our conditioners can be used by all hair types. However, we recommend using our Nourishing Conditioner for dry, thick, and curly hair to add texture and deep nourishment, while our Volumizing Conditioner is essential for fine hair in need of a volume and density boost.

Do your conditioners contain any sulfates or silicones?

All our conditioners are completely free from sulfates (SLS/SLES) and silicones. We use natural and organic ingredients to provide gentle yet effective care.

Is conditioner necessary for fine hair?

Absolutely! Our Volumizing Conditioner is specifically formulated for fine hair and hair types that lack volume, adding volume and fullness without weighing the hair down. It helps to maintain moisture and manageability while promoting a thicker, healthier appearance.

Can conditioner help with hair growth?

While conditioner itself doesn’t directly cause hair growth, it creates a healthy environment for your hair to grow by nourishing the scalp and preventing breakage. Our Volumizing Conditioner contains rosemary oil, known for its hair growth-stimulating properties, which can help support healthy hair growth over time.

How long should I leave conditioner in my hair?

For regular conditioning, leave the conditioner in your hair for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. For a deeper treatment, you can leave it in for 10-20 minutes to allow the nourishing ingredients to penetrate more deeply, especially if your hair is very dry or damaged.

How often do I need to use the conditioner?

If you have very dry or damaged hair, daily conditioning can help maintain moisture and softness. For most hair types, conditioning 2-3 times a week is sufficient. Over-conditioning can lead to build-up, so it’s important to find the right balance based on your hair’s needs.

Can I use conditioner without shampoo?

Yes, you can use conditioner without shampoo. Additionally, you can use woods_ conditioners as a hair mask by leaving the product in for 10-20 minutes for extended treatment, providing deep hydration and care.
