What is normal skin?

What’s ironic about the term “normal skin” is that it’s actually one of the rarest skin types out there. For this reason, it’s also called “balanced skin”, as the expression simply refers to skin that’s neither too dry nor oily. In other words: Normal skin is skin that doesn’t crave excess remedies, but still can benefit from enriching products that preserve, protect, and strengthen it. And remember: The purpose of a skincare routine isn’t solely to treat, but also to prevent so the skin stays resilient, healthy, and vibrant – and preventing is always easier than treating.

How do I treat normal skin?

Though normal skin is often genetic, this skin type can still be affected by factors such as stress, sun exposure, or using the wrong products, which can ultimately disrupt its balance and lead to skin concerns and damage.
