Processing of personal information in connection with direct marketing

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We use your personal data to send you offers, questionnaires and invitations via e-mail. 

 The purpose is to improve your experience at Woods Copenhagen ApS ("Wcph") by sending you relevant information, recommendations of products, reminders about products in your basket, as well as offers adapted to your preferences (based on previous purchases and cookie-consent).

Contact details – name, telephone number, e-mail and postalcode. 

History of which products and offers you have clicked on – depending on your cookie consent (read more here: https://woodscopenhagen.com/pages/cookies) 

Who has access to this information? 

Your personal data is entrusted to suppliers of various services (data processors), who process the personal data on behalf of brand institute in accordance with special instructions and concluded data processing agreement (DPA). Data processors are used for e.g.: 

To deliver IT solutions, mail systems and newsletters. 

In order to fulfill the above purposes, your personal data may also be transferred to intra-group companies. 

As a rule, your personal data will not be passed on to a third party without your permission. However, under special circumstances and in accordance with the law or to pursue legal claims, it may be necessary to disclose your personal data to lawyers, auditors, courts, intra-group companies and public authorities. The disclosure is necessary to enforce legal claims, which is in the interest of society, cf. the data protection regulation article 6 (1)(e) or to comply with a legal obligation, cf. the data protection regulation article 6(1)(c). 

What is the legal basis for processing your personal data? 

Your personal data is processed for direct marketing on the basis of Wcph's legitimate interest in selling products, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the Data Protection Regulation. However, marketing material is only sent via e-mail on the basis of your active and prior consent in accordance with section 10 (1) of the Marketing Act. 

The right to withdraw consent 

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data in connection with direct marketing at any time. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from Wcph, you can click on "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of the newsletter at any time. 

If you choose to withdraw your consent, Wcph will no longer be able to send you offers or information via e-mail. Your withdrawal does not affect the legality of the processing up to the time when the consent is withdrawn. 

How long do we store your personal data? 

Your personal data is deleted when the marketing consent is revoked or if your consent is not used within a period of 1 year. However, the declaration of consent itself is stored for 2 years after revocation of the consent or as a result of the expiry of the consent.
